The TecTNet Tempus Project was implemented by a consortium of 11 partners from the Republic of Moldova and the European Union and aims primarily at building and developing a viable innovation field in the local universities by creating an effective technology transfer network.

The Project started on 1 December 2013 and will end on 30November 2016. Moldova is represented in the Project by four beneficiary universities: State University of Moldova, Technical University of Moldova, State Agrarian University of Moldova, and State University “Aleco Russo” from Balti.

The sustainability of the education-innovation-research knowledge triangle is also supported by the participation in this Project of the State Agency on Intellectual Property, Agency for Innovation and Technology Transfer (AITT) and a local NGO “Technology Transfer Network of Moldova” (TTNM ).

Best practice transfer is provided by partner universities in the EU with extensive experience in the field: University of Sannio in Benevento (Italy), Technical University “Gheorghe Asachi” in Iasi (Romania), Technical University of Košice (Slovakia) and Higher Technical Institute in Lisbon (Portugal).

Among the project results should be enumerated the implementation of a master program in innovation and technology transfer, establishment of cooperation relationships between the universities and enterprises, and the creation and development of Technology Transfer Offices (TTO) in universities of the Republic of Moldova.

To facilitate the TTO institutionalization process, AGEPI developed and made available to Universities a Model Regulations of the Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer Service of the enterprise, which can be adjusted by interested universities depending on their needs and profile.
