On February 28, 2014, within the premises of AGEPI, took place the festive meeting on awarding of certificates of completion of the training course “Protection of Intellectual Property”, which was held in the period 16 October 2013–14 February 2014.
The training course is organized by AGEPI every year and aims at informing, schooling, training and upgrading of the staff in the field of intellectual property. On completion of the course graduates are awarded the qualification “Counselor in Intellectual Property”.
In the current edition of the courses enrolled 14 persons, both from AGEPI and other institutions/organizations in the country.
The ceremony was attended by graduates and lecturers of the training course, and directors of AGEPI departments. In the solemn handing of certificates of qualification, Ion Tiganas, Deputy Director General of AGEPI, Chairman of the Examination and Qualification Commission, congratulated the graduates on successful completion of the course and getting a new qualification, wishing them success in their activity of counseling and promotion of intellectual property objects. In turn, the graduates expressed their gratitude to the professors for all that they have learned from them, and it was agreed on strengthening and continuing future cooperation.
The curriculum of training courses includes seven disciplines relating to the protection of intellectual property objects (inventions and patent information; industrial designs; trademarks; geographical indications, appellations of origin and traditional specialties guaranteed; plant varieties; intellectual property law; economy and evaluation of intellectual property), with a total number of 168 hours. Upon completion of each discipline, attendees of the courses take colloquia or examinations set by the curriculum.
