The creation of Moldovan pupils, winners of the international contest “DECA Idea Global Challenge” has been installed at the State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI).
The four young inventors, from Theoretical Lyceum “Ion Creanga”, made cardboard blinds for a window in the main hall of AGEPI.
After two weeks of work, the pupils enjoy that now everyone who comes into the building of AGEPI will immediately see their invention.
After the blinds have been installed, a trip was organized for pupils through the building of the Agency.
Cristian, Alexandru, Loredana and Victor received as compensation for their creative work a cash prize of 1,000 lei each and a diploma of AGEPI.
Director General of AGEPI, Octavian Apostol, urged pupils to continue the projects in this area and to protect their technical and scientific creations fulfilling the conditions of novelty, inventive step and industrial applicability by patenting them. According to the applicable law, pupils are exempt from fees for obtaining a patent.
By implementing this work, the State Agency on Intellectual Property continues to stimulate innovative creativity and spirit of students.
The four children participated in November 2015 in an international contest intended for small inventors, organized by the Global Network of Entrepreneurship. Moldovan pupils reached the final of the contest alongside of young people from Canada, Switzerland, United States of America and Great Britain. The challenge was to give new life to a cardboard box. Over 8,400 pupils have formed 2,230 teams, who thought, shot, placed on Youtube and sent their developed projects to the address of organizers.
