On 29 June this year, the State Agency on Intellectual Property participated as a partner in the 2017 Promotion Chiefs' Gala, organized by the Student Senate of TUM. The event is at its second edition and was aimed at awarding students with significant academic performances, primordial being the promotion heads, students who have already got the license.
In the opening, TUM Rector Viorel Bostan noted the merits and academic achievements of the institution’s students, calling them “ambassadors” of excellence and inventiveness. He also stressed that the idea of student self-government is supported within the university, and this event is a conclusive example.
Lilia Bolocan, AGEPI Director General, honorary guest of the event, congratulated the students in the hall for the high results, noting that it was a privilege to be at the award ceremony of the best students who demonstrated performance and creativity throughout the study process. AGEPI is the institution that supports and promotes talented and ingenious, inventive young people. In the same context, it was mentioned that TUM is among the educational institutions in the Republic of Moldova, which has the most beautiful achievements in the field of intellectual property, thus students being invited to participate in this year’s edition of the International Specialized Exhibition INFOINVENT.
The students were awarded by categories, among which: Stipended Students of the Year 2016-2017, University Senate Awards for students in the field of technical creativity, Students participating in various national and international, engineering competitions, etc.
In the gala, 100 students were awarded, and graduates who will decide to pursue their master’s degree studies at TUM will have some facilities.
