AGEPI participated in the International Inventions Fair in Turkey

The State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI) participated in the third edition of the International Inventions Fair - ISIF’18, which took place from 27 to 29 September in Istanbul, Turkey. The event was organized by the Turkish Patent Institute under the patronage of the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office and the International Federation of Inventors’ Associations (IFIA).

The fair aimed at promoting innovations, interconnecting inventors with investors, creating new financing opportunities for innovative product development, and strengthening business networks.

The exhibition was attended by representatives from around 30 countries, who presented approximately 400 inventions and new technologies. A jury of international experts appreciated the participants’ inventions and the best exhibits were rewarded with gold, silver and bronze medals, as well as special prizes.

AGEPI participated in the International Inventions Fair - ISIF’18 with an exhibition stand, on which were presented informative materials referring to the national intellectual property system, the online filing of intellectual property applications and the promotion of the International Specialized Exhibition “INFOINVENT”, which will be held in November 2019. At the same time, 4 inventions of the inventors from the Republic of Moldova were exhibited on the AGEPI stand.

Traditionally, AGEPI has awarded 3 medals and a special prize for works presented by inventors from Indonesia, Morocco, Georgia and Germany, respectively.
