AGEPI participated in the International Invention Show “IWIS-2016” in Poland

In the period 10-12 October, the State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI) participated in the International Invention Show “IWIS-2016”, 10th edition, which was held in the city of Warsaw, Poland.

The event brought together inventors and researchers from over 20 countries. Participants exhibited to the appreciation of visitors, but also the international jury, over 300 inventions. The works were presented in over 20 categories ranging from ecology and environmental protection by engineering, construction, electronics and textile and chemical industry to innovative medical solutions. The exhibition program also covered roundtables and seminars on intellectual property rights and obtaining patents.

State Agency on Intellectual Property participated with an exhibition stand, where was promoted the national intellectual property system and was provided information on validation of European patents in the Republic of Moldova. Also, AGEPI specialists have launched the invitation to the International Specialized Exhibition “INFOINVENT”, fifteenth edition, which will take place in November 2017.

At the same time, the International Invention Show “IWIS” in Poland was also attended, with an exhibition stand, by the State University of Moldova and Academy of Sciences of Moldova. The works of national inventors were awarded with medals.

International Invention Show “IWIS” is an event that every year attracts more and more participants from both the academic research centers, universities and colleges and entrepreneurs from various fields.
