In order to support and stimulate inventive and creative ideas of the pupils, the Agency for Innovation and Technology Transfer, in partnership with the Academy of Sciences of Moldova, State Agency on Intellectual Property, University of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova and Ministry of Education of the Republic of Moldova launched the seventhedition of the Republican Contest “BEST INNOVATIVE PUPIL”.
To the contest are invited to take part all pupils of preuniversity education institutions in the country. Winners will benefit from cash prizes to the sum of 3000 lei for the first place, 2000 lei for the second place (two prizes) and 1000 lei for the third place (three prizes). There will also be awarded eight special prizes of 500 lei each and mention diplomas.
The works submitted to the contest are evaluated by an evaluation commission, which examines and scores the inventions presented. The evaluation commission is created from representatives of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova, Ministry of Education, Agency for Innovation and Technology Transfer, State Agency on Intellectual Property, and University of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova.
Nomination of winners will be held on May 17, 2014, within the premises of the Central Scientific Library “Andrei Lupan” of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova.
The deadline for submission of files – April 30, 2014, 17:00.

In the previous edition of the contest took part 155 competitors from 37 school education institutions of the country, submitting 149 works. First Prize, appreciated with the cup and monetary prize worth 3000 lei, was awarded to pupils Vadim Crucirescu, Vasile Bacalim, Sergiu Passat and Parascovia Mocanu from the Construction College of Hancesti district, for the work “Process for reinforcement of masonry elements and instrument for its realization”.
In the sixth edition of the Contest, AGEPI mentioned two works. Thus, AGEPI Cup and Diploma was awarded to Vadim Magaleas, eighth-grade pupil, Gymnasium from Sofia, Drochia district, for the cycle of technical creations “Corncob processing aggregate and rasp assembled for preparing food for animals”. AGEPI diploma was handed to Andrian Livadari, eighth-grade pupil, Theoretical Lyceum “Universe”, v. Scoreni, Straseni district, for the cycle of inventions in the field of radio electronics. Both mentions of AGEPI were accompanied by a monetary prize in the amount of 1000 lei each.
